End of Year Information
Today is the start of the final six weeks for this school year. It is a busy and exciting time with many end of year activities, trips, and celebrations on the horizon. I'll send out a detailed list of all of the events that you will need to know for this final six weeks so that you can mark your calendars and plan accordingly. Please remember that students become anxious and difficult to motivate during this time of year. To eliminate the opportunity for discipline issues, please use instructional time effectively. Have alternative options for students to work on projects or other meaningful instructional tasks when they are finished with work or waiting for classmates to finish tests. Unstructured down-time fosters an environment of chaos and disruption to the educational setting. Cell phones should not be used as an option to occupy the students' time. Let me know if you need anything or have any questions. Have a great week!
Thanks,
Brandy Gray
