Babe's birth name was George Herman Ruth. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1865 on February 6th and passed away on August 16, 1948 in New York, New York. Babe was left handed and batted and threw on the left side. He was 6'2" and weighed 215 pounds. On July 11, 1914 he made his Major League debut and made his final appearance on May 30, 1935.
