Hamden Hall Amnesty International Human Rights Trip

Amnesty International's big event is coming soon!

On Friday, April 11th the Hamden Hall Amnesty International chapter will be partaking in Amnesty's Get on the Bus (GOTB) annual day of human rights education and activism in New York City. GOTB draws upwards of 1,200 participants to a symposium at Cooper Union about dealing with issues of human rights. This year's focus will be on Sri Lanka, Burma, India, and Tibet. Students will also visit embassies and consulates following the lectures.

Hamden Hall's Amnesty International group will be leaving Hamden Hall at 8:00am sharp and returning at approximately 7:00pm. Mr. Gustafson and Mr. du Pont will be chaperoning the trip.


The cost for travel and the symposium is $50 and is due on Thursday, April 3rd. Checks can be made payable to Hamden Hall. We will be having lunch in New York, students should bring their own money.
