PushCoin - New D41 Payment System

District 41 is transitioning to a new and more convenient service for payment of school fees and managing school lunch accounts called PushCoin. PushCoin.com is a mobile-friendly website. Parents can use a smartphone or a tablet to pay for school fees or fund and monitor lunch accounts. Families will be provided the option to link PushCoin to their bank account and pay via an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) without paying any transaction fees. There will also be the option to pay via a credit card, but there would then be a small credit card processing transaction fee.

For all available information on PushCoin CLICK HERE
NOTE: PushCoin sent a separate email on July 18 with the credentials you will need to login.

    2022 D41 Summer Spanish Camp

The first District 41 Summer Spanish Camp since 2019 was a success! The camp welcomed current D41 Kindergarten through 5th grade FLES and dual language students. Campers built crafts, worked in groups, practiced their Spanish-speaking skills and developed knowledge about cultures of Spanish-speaking countries. Campers also enjoyed outdoor activities, the World Cup soccer tournament and Taco Craft Day. Thank you to all of our Glenbard West student volunteers, and thank you to our camp teachers Brianna Kay Mexico, Karen Hodges Costa Rica, Alex Rotela Spain, Gladis Nevarez Argentina and Mayra Kulik Peru. Also thank you to D41 administrator Geri Adkins.

    ¡Te veo el próximo año!

    Chat Site/App Warning for Parents

Although district devices are as secure and safe as possible, please pay attention to your child’s technology use on devices provided by the district and on personal devices. There are a few new sites of concern that are becoming popular with kids. These sites are video chat sites that connect users with others randomly to chat with strangers. They have become hot spots for predators. For example, one of the sites is called “Omegle - Talk to strangers.” District 41 has blocked this site and others like it on all district issued devices, however anyone can reach these sites on their personal devices.

Please continue to talk with your children about internet safety and monitor their technology usage at home. Thank you for partnering with us to keep students safe and responsible while online this summer.

    About Quest

"Providing children nutritious foods, that fuel their learning, is our privilege. Sharing our knowledge about food and where it comes from, is our passion. Quest believes that the landscape of the “school cafeteria” is undergoing a long overdue overhaul. The variety of food, cuisine, and dining experiences children have available to them today shouldn’t stop at the doors of their school.

    We believe in offering:

    • Traditional, kid-friendly favorites, made from scratch

    • Authentic international dishes

    • Fresh, local products

    • Made-to-order menu options

    • Inviting dining environment

    • Healthy choices that are flavorful and appealing

We believe that the food experience shouldn’t be limited to the cafeteria. Our kitchen-to-classroom approach provides educational opportunities for students to learn curriculum lessons on food science, history and agriculture, through food."
