The students have earned a special Christmas Activity that involves food on Thursday 12/17. To make this happen, we need families to sign up to bring an item. If your child has not already signed up, please view this document and sign up for your child's class period.
Progress Report Grades have been posted. Please check your child's parent portal and let me know if you have any questions. We will be redoing the Unit 2b test when we come back from Christmas break. Students are currently working on a project that counts as a test grade. Students who submit the project by this Friday will earn 10 bonus points towards the test grade. We are working on the project in class, so hopefully all students will take advantage of their class time. For your information, I have attached the project links below:
I am also offering an extra credit assignment for students who need some extra help this semester/six weeks. The assignment is to watch the movie It's a Wonderful Life and write a one page movie review of the classic film. Students will need to look at sites such as Rotten Tomatoes to get an idea of how to write a movie review. This assignment can replace the lowest test grade or the student's two lowest daily work grades. This assignment must be turned in by January 8th.
Semester Exams will be on January 13th and 14th. Students do not have school on January 15th.
As always, feel free to email me if you have any questions.
