"I love the freedom to provide more one on one help as well as providing feedback. That being said, I really do just love teaching and spending time with students as they learn new things."

"I love my job! Getting the opportunity to serve the students on a one-to-one basis is rewarding and effective. I also enjoy the professional challenge of becoming the best online teacher I can be. The online learning curve has been tough for my students and I can relate to their challenges as I learn with them. However, some things have never changed over the decades of my career. All students can and want to learn at high levels. They want to discover their personal best. So do the teachers on the VLA team. I am honored to be a member of the inaugural VLA team."

Parents are an important part of the PBIS system. We need your voice on the committee as we work to create the PBIS system for the VLA! Any parent interested in serving, please click here to fill out the interest form. Filling out the form doesn’t mean you’re committed - we will send out more information soon to all parents who are interested.

"I love the flexibility of teaching from home. VLA has a great team of teachers working together to make virtual learning the best it can be for students and families. I like that families can work alongside their student and can work at the pace that fits them. We give so many options for students to learn."
