Fall Parade and Parties
On Monday, October 31, Coventry will be having a fall parade beginning at 2:15 p.m., weather permitting. Parents are welcome to come to Coventry to watch. We will walk the perimeter of the building, so any spot around the building would be fine. After the parade, the students will come back into the building and have a party in the classroom. Just a reminder, students cannot bring candy treats to share.
Great news!! This year, we are allowing students to dress in their costumes all day if they choose. If they do not want to, students can bring their costumes to school in a bag and change into them before the parade begins. Costumes should be easy and quick to put on. Wearing a costume that can be put on over school clothes is preferred. Students should not have their faces painted. Students should not wear costumes that are bloody, gory, or have weapons. Masks will be allowed to be worn during the parade if it goes with the costume.
Parent Teacher Conferences
As a reminder, Parent Teacher Conferences will be held in November. We are excited to share your student's progress thus far, as well as the goals they have for continued progress. (Remember we want your student present at conferences to share their achievements and goals). This year's conferences will be held:
- Monday, November 21st 8:00am-8:00pm
- Tuesday, November 22nd 8:00am-11:00am
Please log in to ParentVue between November 1st and November 17th and choose CONFERENCE from the left-hand menu to choose a day and time that works for you and your student(s). (If you have more than one student, you will have to select each student separately to choose a date and time for a conference.) Your response will be automatically submitted to the teacher, while at the same time marking that time slot as filled. (The time slots visible when you log in are the only time slots currently available.) If you need to change the time of your conference, log back into ParentVue, choose CONFERENCE, and unselect your current time. This will then allow you to choose a new time. For more information, click the instructions link below: Conference Scheduling Instructions. Please contact your teacher or the main office if you have any questions or concerns.

A Message from the Nurse
The health office does NOT have extra clothes for students should they become wet, soiled, etc. Please put a change of clothes (shirt, pants, socks, underwear, etc.) in your child’s backpack in a gallon-sized ziploc bag. This way, if your child needs to change clothes, the wet or soiled clothes will be put in the plastic bag and sent home. You will also receive a phone call should this occur. Any questions please do not hesitate to call Mrs. Hendrix, R.N., in the health office at (815) 788-5505. Thank you!
