GT Expo 2018
In case you haven't seen it for yourself, you might want to go check out the ORMS cactus garden (in the corner of the school behind the outdoor basketball court) to see the brilliant red flowers of the ocotillo. If you are a regular of West Texas, you know how breathtaking it is to catch the ocotillos in full bloom! But, you don't have to travel there to see one, because we have one here! Ms. Beabout believes this is the first year ours has ever bloomed! And, we are not the only ones who are benefiting; Coach Williams even observed a hummingbird enjoying its nectar last week!
Ms. Beabout and Ms. Redwine want to say thank you to all of those who continue to support and appreciate these valuable gardening projects around our campus!
Students put the finishing touches on their spring GT project for 7th grade, which is their State Park Project. They worked on their presentation boards and digital presentations in the Synergy Lab in the weeks leading up to the GT Expo.
