OneGP Virtual Weekly Update
March 26, 2021
Message from Dr. Delgado
Good afternoon,
You should have received an email from the District today indicating that High School students will be returning to Remote learning from 4/5-4/9. This will NOT affect the OneGP Virtual schedule. Our schedule for both HS and MS will remain the same.
Thank you to all OneGP Virtual families for your continued collaboration as we navegate this unique school year. Many have reached out to ask if OneGP Virtual will be offered during the next school year. That is an option that is being considered by a committee of teachers and administrators. We will soon be seeking parent and student input in the process as well.
I hope everyone has a well deserved and restful Spring Break.
Take care,
Dr. Sara Delgado

8th Grade PSAT
Our 8th grade students will be taking the 8/9 PSAT Assessment on Tuesday, April 13th. Given the timing of the assessment, we ask for your support in ensuring students arrive to school on time and refrain from scheduling any appointments during the morning hours. For our OGPV students, please review Dr. Delgado's communication about registration. OGPV PSAT testing will take place in the Brownell Multi-Purpose Room on April 13th as well. Registration is needed to prepare for social distancing purposes and preparation. If you are interested in your OneGP Virtual student taking the PSAT at Brownell on April 13th, please complete this survey.
If you have any questions regarding PSAT, please contact Holli McNally (mcnallh@gpschools.org) for face-to-face or Dr. Sara Delgado (delgads@gpschools.org) for OGPV.

Elementary School Specials:
In order to locate your OneGP Virtual specials classes in Schoology, please look for a course named "Specials Sandbox for OGPV: Grade ____" (Pictured below).
As of January 25th, specific specials teachers have been assigned to OneGP Virtual specials for the remainder of the school year. This has caused some minor changes to our specials schedule. We will be following an ABCD schedule versus M-F. The delivery and format will remain the same. The ABCD schedule is linked below.
OneGP Virtual Specials will consist of 2 components.
Asynchronous lessons weekly in Schoology - New Schoology Courses have been created and the students have already been added. There is one Schoology Course per grade level and folders within for each specials class.
Weekly optional Enrichment Zoom sessions
Here is the New OneGP Virtual Specials Schedule starting on January 25th
Neither of these components are mandatory and are meant to provide opportunities for OneGP Virtual students to engage in specials work synchronously and asynchronously should they so desire. OneGP Virtual specials will not change in function or delivery. However, the district has assigned specific teachers to OneGP Virtual; therefore, the teacher that your child is seeing may change.

Free Meal Service Update:
Starting next week (3/14-3/20) OneGP Virtual students/parents who would like to receive free meals will need to submit an order for those meals through our new ordering process. Those meals will then be picked up at the students/parents desired location during our new serving times. One GP Virtual students/parents will now pick up their meals at either North or South High School (depending on the location chosen during ordering), between 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m., every Thursday.
Orders for these meals will be submitted via a brief survey that will ask for 3 bits of information:
Last name
Number of OneGP virtual students in your family, and
Which pick up location (North or South High School).
The district asks that parents/students submit an order every Sunday for the meals that will be picked up that Thursday.
Food Service Order link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfC1SIVnlARvk2QcG0PRWR30TnfkxMO5BvsoMwrPKgZ_m2jpA/viewform
For example: If you would like to pick up meals for your OneGP virtual student on Thursday March 18th, your order will need to be submitted no later than Sunday, March 14th by 11:00 p.m. Any orders received after Sunday the 14th at 11 p.m. will be submitted for the following week’s pick up.
