Teachers: The HHS library is currently partnering with The New York Times to bring teaching tools into your classroom. This site provides valuable resources that include lesson plans, and detailed instructions on how to best utilize this site, and tailor it to meet the needs of your students. There are student activities, and teacher resources that include English Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, Math, and Current Events.

Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo "Houston Area" Scholarship

One HHS senior will win a $20,000 scholarship. The Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo main goal is to raise Scholarship funds. No participation is necessary.

All HHS seniors who are ranked in the Top 50% of this senior class (approx Rank 1-294) can apply.

MUST attend a Texas college for a bachelor's degree, and have already applied. MUST have already completed your FAFSA. MUST have a 950 or higher score on an SAT; or, 19 or better on an ACT.
