LEARNER SUCCESS TIP--Online Office Hours: High School Learners
HIGH SCHOOL
Every high school course has online office hours scheduled throughout the week. The office hours are listed on the newsletter, but more importantly they are listed on your learners dashboard on K12 and accessed through class connects within K12.
It is recommended that learners align their schedule at home with the online office hours of their teachers. If they struggle during this time, they can join the session. OR learners work on each course BEFORE the online office hours and come prepared with questions to the office hours.
To access their Class Connect live session, HIGH SCHOOL learners must:
- Go to the Online Middle School/High School
- Click My Schedule
- View scheduled Class Connect sessions under Events header
- Click the name of the session you wish to join
💡Sample Class Connect session example names:
- ENG101 with Mrs. Smith

CARL
Goal: To teach learners habits and skills to be successful in learning at home. Goal setting, time management, self-advocacy, and reflection are a few skills that we teach throughout their day. We do Not these skills through defining or direct instruction on these skills. We teach them through modeling and experiencing a successful day of learning IN ACTION during CARL.
If your learner is 1 week behind, they will be required to come to CARL 4 days next week. The schedule is below. All learners should eat before coming or when they get home. Please reach out with questions!
Your learner will attend CARL on the days they are not in session. On the day your learner is scheduled to come to face-to-face session, they DO NOT attend CARL.
