Thank you to those of you who are planning on coming out to the Glenhope Sock Hop tonight to support the Dad's Club. The Dad's Club have always been strong supporters of Glenhope and work hard to provide us with awesome experiences.

In case you were wondering, the Sock Hop is TONIGHT from 6:30-8:00!

Progress Reports

6 Week Progress Reports will be ready to view on your child's Google Drive beginning next Wednesday, October 6th. Your child has a folder in their Google Drive titled "last name, first name SBRC." In this folder, you will find their progress report/report card and a rubric that explains the 3rd grade content standards in more detail.

This year, the progress report and report card will be the same document. At 6 weeks, we will report mostly all of the information we have and then at 9 weeks, you might see a few additions or changes on the report.

On Wednesday, we suggest you take time to go over the report with your child and to help them discuss goals/ways to grow in the future.

Student-Led Conferences

We are conducting student-led conferences next week in the afternoon. This week we sent home a sign-up sheet for you to indicate the times you were available to come in.

If you haven't signed up for a time yet, please do that as soon as possible so we can schedule you in. Students cannot wait to share their learning with you!

What will be your SpaceJam?

As we move toward student-led conferences next week, we have been working a lot of setting goals with students.

Mrs. Pape, our guidance counselor, shared the video below with students last week. It encourages them to take the road less traveled, to fight, to be gritty. It also asks them the question...what will be your Spacejam? How will you leave your mark out in the world?

Take a look at the video below if you have time and enjoy :)

A Pep Talk from Kid President to You

Oh, the Places We'll Go as a 1:1 Campus!

We are sad to report that several students are bringing their iPads to school without being charged at home or we even have a few each day who forget to bring their iPads to school at all! We must stress with you the importance of helping your child to remember to plug their iPad in each night as well as bring it into school the next day. Their day will be very difficult without the use of this learning tool.

As a reminder, please remember that NO PASSCODE can be set on the student iPads. If the passcode is forgotten, there is no way to recover the will have to be wiped completely and everything on it will be lost.
