Fungi as Decomposers

by Junior Meza

Why Fungal Decompositions is important ?

When plants grow and produce leaves and stems they use nutrients like nitrogen. When they die the Fungus helps recycle the nitrogen in the dead plant and it helps other plants get the nitrogen it needs.

Fungi is a Great Way to Decompose Organisms.

Fungi can work as a excellent decomposer. A decomposer is an organism that decomposes organic material that is dead. Fungus is a decomposer just like bacteria and invertebrate.

Organisms that get Decomposed
