Thanks Again-Keep those pledges coming!
The Boosterthon fundraiser was another great success. We made it to our goal of $15,000 in pledges! Way to go Dyer students, parents, families, and friends! Now we just need to collect all of the funds while our PTA is still in the process of entering money that is coming in. If your student has any outstanding pledge money that has not been collected it is not too late to turn it in. Please send in any pledge money as soon as you receive it. We look forward to shopping for a new playground shade structure for our students to enjoy with the generous donations. Go Bears!

2016-2017 Dyer PTA Leadership Nominations Due Next Friday, March 4th!
Calling All Nominees! Get Involved in Your PTA!
Want to be more involved in your child’s school? Do you love to make a difference? Do you have a calling for service? Do your kids love PTA event?
The Dyer PTA is looking for a few good men and women to serve on the 2016-2017 Dyer Elementary PTA Executive Board.
We are currently accepting nominations for the following executive board positions:
· Vice President/Co-Vice Presidents
The PTA is entirely volunteer run and is always seeking volunteers with new, fresh ideas! If you are interested in a less involved (but just as important) role for the 2016-2017 PTA, we will also accept nominations for Committee Chair / Co-Chair positions. Several of these positions can be done in the comfort of your home (or office).
The available Committee Chair positions are:
· 5th Grade Activities
· Bear Reader
· Bingo Nights
· Cultural Arts
· Donuts for Dads
· Easy Money Fundraising
· Fundraising/Spirit Nights
· Spirit Wear
· Volunteers/Room Mom Coordinator
Not sure what serving in a position involves? Please contact Amanda Henderson at email@example.com with any questions!
If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else for an executive board and/or board officer position, please fill out a PTA/PTSA Leadership Nominating Form, and return it via email to firstname.lastname@example.org or you can turn it in to the front office. Forms can be found here, on the PTA Website, and in the front office. All nomination forms are due no later than Friday March 4th.
Thank you for your continued support of Dyer and our PTA!
