Free/Reduce Lunch
ATTENTION families! Free and reduced meal benefits expire Oct. 8 for students who have not renewed their application from last year. Families must apply for meal benefits each year to continue receiving lunch and breakfast at a reduced rate. Only one application is required for each family, and the information will be kept confidential.
You can apply or reapply for meal benefits by:
Picking up a meal benefits application at your student's school and returning it
Please remember that we need time to process the application, so do not delay!

Principal Drake's ROAR!
We had another great week at Laurin. Every day I am reminded of our students resiliency, character, and kindness towards each other. I'm not going to lie, it doesn't mean it's perfect, and like any school we will always have some issues. With that being said, the overwhelming majority of our students are doing the right things.
To continue building our culture, next week is going to be a week-long focus on Anti-Bullying. This isn't because we have a huge problem with bullying, but it is because bullying exists and we want to continue to pursue 100% of our students feeling safe and welcome on our campus. See below for more information:

Laurin Middle School is once again promoting a program called Project SUCCESS. The goals of this program are to help prevent and reduce alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use among students, to promote positive mental health, and to provide activities that help improve the overall school climate. To accomplish these goals, students will have the opportunity to participate in school wide prevention activities, classroom lessons, and small group support meetings. Please see the attached letter for further details.
