2020-2021 GJSHS Registration is Coming!

GJSHS students and families--it's time to register for the 2020-2021 school year! An Aeries Communication message will be coming out regarding registration for GJSHS students. We will be sending video instructions on to register for your classes as well as other important information. We will also have a open Zoom time for 9-12 grade students and parents from 9a.m. - 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, and 7-8 grade students on Friday, May 22. We look forward to seeing you!

Yearbook orders

Ordering Yearbooks is in process. They are $50 with options to customize at and extra cost. Orders must be submitted by May 18th.

Congratulation to our PBIS Winners!

GJSHS Stuent Emily Smith and GES student William Bivin won prizes for the PBIS raffle last week. They were recognized by their teachers for excellent participation in meetings last week as well as having doing a great job working independently. Keep up the great work!!!

One Student's Final

Alex Wright has been working on a game. He is doing for a hobby and for his AP Computer Science Principles final. All the models are made by him as well as the coding in it, except for the player movement which is a prefab for the engine which he plans on making his own soon. Great job, Alex!! Keep up the hard work!!

TK/K--Distance Learning Readers!

Mrs Marcher's TK/K class has read and listened to 700 books (and counting!) this year on EPIC! That is a lot of books!! We also want to recognize Reagan Garcia for being responsible and hardworking at home. Great job, Reagan!! They recently held a Zoom class meeting where they watched an art video about how drawing and worked on it together virtually.

If you want someone to talk to Ms. Mongiello, our Assistant Principal of Student Supports, is here for you. You can reach out if you’re struggling or just need someone to talk to. Please email her at emongiello@pcoe.k12.ca.us. She will work with you to set up a time to talk either by phone, email, Zoom, or Google Hangout. Please feel free to reach out.

Indian Valley Parents' Club

Please join us for Indian Valley Parents' Club meetings the first Monday of each month at 5:30 pm in the GES library. ( If the first Monday is a holiday, we meet on the 2nd Monday that month.)

GJSHS Boosters Club

About Us

Greenville Elementary School and Greenville Junior/Senior High School are in beautiful western Plumas County. We serve the students of Indian Valley, which includes the communities of Greenville, Crescent Mills, Taylorsville, and Canyon Dam. We are essentially a K-12 school since we are located on one large campus where we share several facilities.
