RHS Spotlight on Gratitude
Embracing Our Humanity
THANK YOU REDWOOD HEIGHTS COMMUNITY!!!
The first half of the school year has gone by so quickly. Our school has completed our first report card period. We are now in the season of giving where we get to pause and spend time with loved ones and acknowledge all that we are grateful for. It reminds us that gratitude matters. It directs our attention to expressions of appreciation and affirmations of goodness which create positive feelings of warmth and love. As we reflect on the many, many blessings, I want to take this opportunity to share just a few of them.
Here at Redwood Heights, we are so fortunate to have a thriving community of loving human beings who care deeply about the welfare of our precious children.
We are thankful for our students who come to school every day ready to learn – they give us all a daily reminder of what is important and why we are here. We are thankful for the support of the parents, and all efforts of the PTA and SSC in creating an outstanding partnership for our students. We are thankful for the teachers, group specialists - Ms. Adams, Ms. Jenelle, Harrison, and Ms. Nia. Our bus drivers, FABULOUS Ms. K and Ms. Margaret, Nurse Avelina, lunchroom aide, Ms. Robins, support staff, our AWESOME SPED/Resource Team - Ms. Beth, Ms. Stritzel, Ms. Melissa, Ms. Michele, Ms. Kemper, all student teachers, and the supporting team Ms. Nou, Ms. Alabi, Ms. Lancaster, Ms. Tahir, and Ms. Todd. And of course Ms. Kim for keeping our school clean and making it sparkle! We are also thankful for our volunteers who enthusiastically contribute so much to our school. All of you really care about student achievement and have the best interests of our students at heart. Thank you to every single one of you for your daily positive contributions.
Have a lovely vacation!
Best,
Principal Bagby-Ellison
