Parent Corner- Remote Learning

The Marysville School Board voted to take a pause from in-person/hybrid and return to virtual learning starting Monday, March 22nd. We are tentatively scheduled to return back to in-person/hybrid April 12th. MMS will be using our original Virtual Schedule with the blend of Synchronous and Asynchronous lessons. Please see the virtual schedule below.


Students are expected to login to every class, participate, and complete assignments in both the morning virtual "synchronous" classes and the afternoon independent "asynchronous" classes. Students will continue to earn their grades and be marked absent or tardy if they do not show up on time to class. If you are having technical difficulty logging into a zoom or google meet session, you need to email the teacher as soon as possible to let them know.


The MMS office will be open from 8:00-3:00 PM. Any needed school materials will be in the entrance way of the building with either the student's name on them or supplies/materials for specific classes (ex. Art).

Student Corner- Virtual

We will be taking a short virtual pause, and we will be back to in-person/hybrid learning before you know it (April 12). You need to stay in school mode, login to your classes, participate, complete and hand-in all work. The end of the 3rd marking period is Friday, March 26th (one more week). Then we start 4th marking period Monday, April 5th. We want to finish and start the marking periods Strong!


Teachers will be utilizing the FIT documents to give you extra support in the afternoons. So on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoon (1-3pm) you should do the following:



  1. Check the FIT document to see if any of your teachers want you to zoom in for extra support!
  2. Do any homework that was assigned from your morning classes
  3. Check Google Classrooms of the hours you didn't have in the morning to see if there is any work/assignments that need to be completed.


Please keep up with your work and email your teachers if you have any problems.

Attendance Information

Students are expected to prioritize academics on school days from 8:00am-3:00pm. during remote learning, which are the same expectations during in-person learning. Students are also expected to check Google Classroom daily and do asynchronous activities when their class is not scheduled to meet synchronously.


If a student will be absent for their SYNCHRONOUS scheduled class, please call the attendance line/student services (810.364.6336) to speak to Mrs. Eisen or leave a message to excuse your student for missing the hour(s).

Remote Meals during Virtual Learning

During virtual learning 'Remote Meals' are available, there will be a Google Form for requesting meal information for food service planning purposes. These forms need to be completed weekly. You can find these forms on the District Website under Food Services. Remote Meal Order


Meal Pickup Times at the High School Bus Loop:

Wednesday 8:30am-10:30am

Wednesday 3:30pm-5:30pm


There will be no "Remote Meals" on Wednesday, March 31st because of Spring Break.
