Cori Smith with AIM News from Glasgow, Scotland
Hello family and friends!
Above is a photo taken on a crisp morning in Glasgow this past Christmas. The sunshine was a timely gift amidst a cold and chilly winter. Over the past few months, however, we've only seen great fire and excitement sweeping over the churches of the United Kingdom and Europe. Right when we thought the year was coming to an end, the youth of Europe gathered together in Dordrecht, Holland for the first European Youth Congress. The conference was called "Uproar" and what a mighty finish it was to a great year and a jump start for 2013. Needless to say, Europe is having revival!
In just a few short weeks, we've experienced great moves of God, baptisms in Jesus' Name, and tremendous prayer flood the city of Glasgow. We have been EMPOWERED to show this world the love of God. EMPOWERED to memorize scripture. EMPOWERED to work. EMPOWERED to witness. EMPOWERED to pray. EMPOWERED to bless others! From prayer rallies to Bible studies, I can feel the undercurrent of the Holy Spirit pushing us forward. What a wonderful time to be part of the Kingdom of God. This weekend, the Northern District Youth will be traveling to Gilford and Dublin, Ireland for a weekend of evangelism. Then, in April for Easter holiday, I will be traveling with a prayer team to Monaco where we anticipate a mighty move of God. Your prayer will strengthen and prepare the way for both of these events. Thank you for your tremendous investment in these areas of prayer..
At the end of this February and moving into March, I will be returning to Washington for two short weeks and hope to see all of you in Jesus Name. Know that your love and support is reaching far beyond your city or state; YOU are impacting the world. May the Lord bless you and keep you.
Sincerely,
Cori Smith
