For your information:
You may be aware of the popular Netflix original series, 13 Reasons Why, that many of our young people have watched since its release on March 31st. The fictional series revolves around 17-year old Hannah Baker, who takes her own life and leaves behind audio recordings for 13 people who she says in some way were part of why she killed herself.
The content includes mature and sensitive topics such as suicide, bullying, rape, and drunk driving. Because of the complex issues, mental health professionals have encouraged parents and guardians to discuss the series with their children.
We have information about the series, discussion points, warning signs of suicide, and links to mental health resources on our Student Services website.
As always, please know our counselors and school professionals are here for support.

When the touring show Beatles vs. Stones – A Musical Showdown comes to the Keswick Theatre on August 18, the Central Bucks West High School String Quartet will have the privilege of joining the professional musicians on stage to add some orchestral texture to the evening.
The show pits Rolling Stones tribute band Satisfaction against rival Brit boys Abbey Road in an all-out musical showdown for rock dominance. The string quartet will perform seven songs with the bands.
The string quartet: Central Bucks West High School students Audrie Przybyiski, Eunice Woo, Sophie Griffiths and Eddie Kim will join the bands for the songs "Eleanor Rigby," "Yesterday," "A Day in the Life," "Hello Goodbye,""Hey Jude," "As Tears Go By," and "Ruby Tuesday."
