PTA Spring Flower pickup is TODAY - Friday (5/13)
Today, Friday (5/13), flowers will be available for pickup from dismissal (3:30pm) until 6pm. They must be picked up at the school; orders are not sent home with students. If you will not be able to make it before 6pm on Friday, please contact Gables PTA at gablesgators@gmail.com.

Field Day at Gables ES is Tuesday, May 31. We will need family volunteers to assist with games and inflatables during the morning from 9am to 12pm. There is no signup before the day - just show up if you can and report to the gym to choose your game/activity.

If you cannot make the morning games, you are still invited to watch the afternoon games with your scholar. Afternoon games will begin at 2pm. Which teachers will be victorious in tug-of-war? Come find out! See more details in Bloomz

If you need assistance with child care, transportation, paying rent, getting a GED, or if you are interested in getting FREE job placement help or a work from home opportunity with free training, you can contact Bailey Sandin (Bailey@ccohf.org) with Creating Central Ohio Futures (through the city of Columbus) to get wide range of opportunities. Pathway Express & Countdown to Kindergarten

Pathway Express' final destination is an exploration of Family & Consumer Sciences. The event will feature:

  • Fun, Engaging Take-Home Learning Activities;
  • Live Entertainment & Student Performance;
  • Special Hip-Hop Zumba Class;
  • Author Meet & Greets;
  • Books for At-Home Libraries from Scholastic;
  • Food Trucks;
  • And More!


The event will also include the district’s annual Countdown to Kindergarten celebration to provide additional resources and support ahead of our youngest scholars’ transition to Kindergarten in the fall.
