Joining the chat:
To join the #UDLHE chat, log on to Twitter on Thursday, Sept. 20 at 12:00 Eastern and type #UDLHE in the Search Twitter box in the top right corner of your browser.During the chat:
A host will type questions in a tweet that starts with Q and the question number. For example, question 1 might say,
Q1: How are faculty in your institution currently implementing UDL? #UDLHE
Each chat participant will answer with a tweet that starts with A and the question number. For example, an answer to Q1 might look like this,
A1: Faculty are starting to be more comfortable adding captions to their own videos. #UDLHE
#UDLHE chat basics:
- The chat will last 30 minutes and will be led by different #udlrockstars in the higher ed world each month.
- Be sure to end each tweet with #UDLHE, so that all chat participants will see them
- Follow your new #UDLfam and build your PLN
- When you find good articles or research pertinent to UDL in higher ed., add #UDLHE to your re-tweet, so participants can access the information 24/7
