Message from Administration
Dear NMES Families,
We want to thank our families for your ongoing support throughout the pandemic. Over the past two years, we have all been challenged. Pandemic effects related to education are the ones we, as a school community, have faced together. Overall, every change, procedure and protocol was met with collaboration and support. Last week, our Board of Education voted to encourage face coverings but no longer require them inside schools. This is yet another turn in the pandemic we are now navigating.
Many families have reached out to ask how they can help. The best thing families can do is to have open communication with your children about the change, the why behind the change and the family decision about whether to mask or not. Our staff stands together in supporting all students with their masking choices. We will not tolerate intimidation related to this family decision. We want all our Wolves to feel safe and respected in their school as we navigate and acclimate to this latest change. It is important to note however, students are still required to wear face masks when visiting the Health Room or when returning after isolation/quarantine. As we continue to turn the corner, any new updates will be shared. As always, feel free to reach out with any questions.
This month we welcome Spring and are looking forward to a safe, healthy new season!
Mr. Bowser - Principal
Mrs. McGaha - Assistant Principal
