DMS Teachers may have had TOO much fun for Halloween
Upcoming Events:
Cadet/Beginner Band
All beginner band students should have a BLACK BINDER for class. They can bring in $1 and get one from us if they need to (or bring a new binder of another color to trade).
Students will wear white tops and black pants with black dress shoes. PLEASE ask if you are not sure if a uniform will work out.
Each of our beginner classes is doing a phenomenal job! We know you will be so impressed with their progress when you hear them at our concert on December 5!
Below is a picture of our hard working beginner percussion class!
Concert/Symphonic Bands
SO PROUD of our Concert Band after an amazing Halloween concert! Thank you all for coming and for all who provided treats for our after-concert celebration!
Uniform Order Forms are past due. Form is included below if you need to print/send in on Mon. EVERYONE must turn in a form, even if you already have a uniform. There is a box for "check here if you already own."
Holiday Concert is 12/5/19! PLEASE block off this evening on your calendar. It will be held at BJHS.
Don't forget that this Friday (11/8) is a half day!
SYMPHONIC BAND (Vet Assembly Info):
- Students must wear Red/White/Blue dress clothes for the vet day assembly this Friday. Khakis and a white or blue button up (for example) would be great for guys. Sometimes people call this "church clothes." No jeans. Be dressy/professional. Remember, girls are SEATED in front of the audience, so short dresses shouldn't be worn without leggings.
- We REALLY really (really really) need a few parents to help us setup on Friday morning. If you're off work Friday and available, please consider helping us at 7:00am. We can't setup the night before due to a basketball tournament and the assembly is supposed to begin at 8:30am. Email us at info@dmsbands.org if you can help!
