Volume of a Cylinder

  • The volume of a cylinder- is found by multiplying the radius squared by pi and the height
  • Radius- a straight line from the center to the circumference of a circle or sphere
  • Diameter- A line that you have to divide by 2 to find the radius
  • Circumference- the distance around a figure
  • Base- The circular bottom and top of a cylinder

  • Volume of a Cone- is found by mutiplying 1/3(3.14..)(r^2)(h)
  • pi- Is an un-ending number that is used to find volume
  • area- the measurement of a surface or a piece of something
