# Volume

## Volume of a Cylinder

- The volume of a cylinder- is found by multiplying the radius squared by pi and the height
- Radius- a straight line from the center to the circumference of a circle or sphere
- Diameter- A line that you have to divide by 2 to find the radius
- Circumference- the distance around a figure
- Base- The circular bottom and top of a cylinder

## Volume of Cone

- Volume of a Cone- is found by mutiplying 1/3(3.14..)(r^2)(h)
- pi- Is an un-ending number that is used to find volume
- area- the measurement of a surface or a piece of something

## Volume of a Sphere

- Volume of a sphere- is found by multiplying 4/3(3.14...)(r^3)
