Whta is Cyberbullying?
Cyberbullying is when someone behind a computer screen are posting things that can hurt the person its about. Cyberbullying can be anyone as long as they have a computer or any device that can get on the internet.
Examples of cyberbullying
Examples of cyberbullying are mean texts messages, rumores sent by a email or a post on socail media, embarrassing pictuers.
Three differences between cyberbullying and bullying
Cyberbullying is on technology, it happens when someone send a mean text, or when a cyberbully post things on the internet. while bullying happens at a school, it can be physically or verbally, sometime the bully can have more power over the kid getting bullied.
Effects of cyberbullying
The effects of cyberbullying is skipping school, the use of drugs or alcohol, poor grades, low self-esteem, and more health problems.
Prevention and Awareness
they ask for passwords, ask to friend or follow their child on socail media sites, knowing the sites that their child is on,having senes of what they do online, talking to their child about cyberbulllying.
Establishing Rules
telling them not to post any hurtful or embrrasssing things. encourage them too think about what they want people to see online. Tell kids to keep their password safe.
Reporting a Cyberbully
don't respond to and don't foward cyberbullying messages. keep evidence of the cyberbullying. block the person.

Report to your School
The school can use the information to help inform prevention and response strategies, schools are required to address cyberbullying in their anti-bullying policy.
