hi my name is 亜美 (Ami) in japanese it stands for 亜 (a) "second, Asia" and 美 (mi) "beautiful". japan is 6,848 km from Australia.
my favorite food
my favorite food in japan is sushi. Sushi is a typical Japanese food with over a thousand years of history and tradition. It has become perhaps the most visible example of Japanese cuisine in other countries. Consists of cold cooked rice dressed with vinegar that is shaped into bite-sized pieces and topped with raw or cooked fish, or formed into a roll with fish, egg, or vegetables and wrapped in seaweed or stuffed in a small tofu pouch.
i go to elementary middle school, i wake up at about seven thirty to get ready to go to school at eight thirty. at the biginging of each week a morning asembaly is held before class begins.each class lasts between 40 to 45 minutes,we have 5 to 10 minutes for lunch and 20 minutes for recess.
after school clubs
after school i take part in a after school sports club, i learn lots of sports such as soccer, basketball, netball,football,dodge ball and many more. the reason i chose the sports clu is becasue i like being active and i like running so i chose sports cause you do lots of active stuff.

my favourite japanese holiday is christmas because kids get lots of presents and it is a day when people feel happy, family and friends get together to have breakfast lunch or dinner, i like christmas because if you go around the streets you will see quite a lot of houses with pretty bright and colourful lights on different houses. most people put a christmas tree up and decorate it with decorations.

my favourite japanese charecter is totoro, totoro is from the movie my name is totoro most japan kids love totoro just like i do.
there are a few rare animals in japan but if i could help one amimal i would have to choose the
japanese river otter i think that they are really cute and they shouldnt go indangerd,
