Ontop in the Company page Homepage end of the test

What was it?

We've selected a SMB company called "COMAP".

We've activated the OnTop for this company for one month.


What was the purpose?

Assess what can be the effect of this option on the number of followers to be able to determinate the right pricing.


What is the result?

From 125 followers on the 26th of April COMAP reached 435 followers on the 26th of May.


What's next?

Let's do another test with a bigger and well-known account

Context

It seems that too many duplicate-leads are generated and that member doesn't find how to close the pop-in.


Action

Modify the pop in to help users to close the pop-in easily

Validation email of a Company Page

Context

From mid december we've spotted out a low validation rate of company page.


Feedback from our provider:

For instance, dating websites have a 70% or 80% open-rate

Figures seems all right actually, the 50% open-rate seems to be normal for the market.


But we've released a couple of fixes.



Fixes released:

Case #1: The user is the owner of the email populated in the creation form and has a profile but was not the member who filled-in the form:

click on the activation link in the validation-email=>

  • company page activated
  • the member who filled in the form: becomes administrator
  • the member who clicked on the link: activates the CP and becomes administrator


Case #2: The user is not the owner of the email populated in the form and have a Viadeo profile:

click on the activation link in the validation-email=>

  • IF sign up process is completed==>
  • company page activated
  • the member who filled in the form: becomes administrator
  • the member who clicked on the link: activates the CP and becomes administrator


These two cases are OK even when the user is not logged in.
