News from this week

It was such a wonderful night last night at our annual Talent show! The students put on some great performances and the whole night was very enjoyable. Congratulations to Aily An, Emily Jay, Ocean Gotvald, and Sneha Sony for excellent performances!

Thank you to everyone who sent in treats for our class Valentine's exchange! The students and I really appreciate it all. I also really appreciate all of the wonderful and supportive parents and families we have in our class!

Parent Teacher Conferences are starting next week. If you have not already done so, please make sure to sign up as soon as possible to ensure you get the best time for your schedule. I have tried to make various times available so you can find a time that best fits your schedule. If none of the times work for you, please let me know and we can arrange another time. If you would prefer for me to sign you up, please send in a note to let me know.

Our field trip forms were sent home last week. Many students have already turned in their permission slips and payment, but I am still missing it from several students. Please turn in all permission slips and payment by next Thursday, February 18. The trip will be on Thursday, March 3rd to the Elachee Nature Science Center.

We are starting a new security system to enter our building, beginning Monday, February 29. Once it begins, you will need to buzz the front desk in order to be let into the building. You also must have ID on you at all times. Information is coming home in the Friday Folder and here are several links to get more information.

I hope everyone has a nice, long weekend! Remember NO SCHOOL on Monday!
