Today a reader... Tomorrow a leader!
What is Title I Reading?
The Title I Reading Program is a federally funded supplemental reading program designed to help students improve their reading skills. The Title I Reading Program strives to provide an environment that:
- Helps students become fluent readers
- Builds self-esteem and confidence
- Promotes lifelong readers
When schools work together with families to support learning, children are inclined to succeed not just in school, but throughout life. It is the school’s intent to establish partnerships that will increase parental involvement and participation in promoting the social, emotional and academic growth of children.
