Gangsters of 1920
The gangsters of the 1920's i believed had more class and uniform to them then the "gangsters" of present day. A gang was more like an organized group of mainly criminals and i highly doubt that they care about silly things like "street cred" or things that the gangs of today a worried about.

Music played a major role in this time period. It stood as a link that helped connect black and white and help people see that they are more in common than many of the people of that time would've liked to believe.

During this time, there was a major growth in consumerism which led to the creation of some of the weirdest products that i have ever seen.
Richard Bruce Nugent (1906-1987)
Richard was a black man that created a lot of beautiful art work that represented the murging of blacks and white. One of his picture is listed above.

Women had started to get really active about women's suffrage and regularly held protests trying to get more and more people to agree with it.
