A Major League Baseball Player is a part of 1 of the 30 teams in the MLB. That play against the best of the best.
Work Conditions
Some players have to work outside and inside depending on what stadium they were in. Pitchers are the main players that get time off to rest their arms.
Wages/Salary
The average player makes about 2-3 million a year.
Educational Background
You have to maintain a C average and you can get drafted out of high school.
Career Ladder
Starts in high school then moves to college and then to double A then Triple A then the pro's
Employment outlook
The outlook for athletes is expected to grow 6% from 2014-2024
