Crossroads Milestones and More
Today we welcomed in our new group of 14 orientation students. These students are motivated & ready to pursue their personalized pathway to graduation. While these students settle into their new school, we are also working with existing students who are on a variety of different points on their paths. For example, Monday afternoon we had our 21st graduate. We also received state End of Course test data at the end of last week, and that has helped us to better understand the remaining pathways for our students. Our students' scores presented some encouraging data, but we also have a better understanding of how our team can better help even more of our students experience success.
Next week Ms. Dvorak and myself will be sharing some of our successes with an audience of statewide leaders at the Texas Association of School Administrators Mid Winter Conference in Austin. We have also begun a study with the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Crossroads and its students are going places and doing big things, and I know that this is just the beginning.
