Luther's Morning Prayer
I thank You, my Heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ your dear Son
That you have kept me this night from all harm and danger
And I pray that you would keep me this day also from sin and every evil
That all my doings in life may please You
For into Your hands I commit myself - my body and soul and all things
Let Your Holy Angel be with me that the evil foe may have no power over me
This Week's Memory Verse - Isaiah 41:10
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
I always learn scripture better when I can put music to it. If that sounds like you, too, you can use this music video to help strengthen and encourage you as you finish the school year strong!
Charge Up Your Love
Supporting Verses for Faith-filled Life
1 Corinthians 16:14 - "Do everything in love."
1 John 4:16 - "And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them."
Matthew 22: 37-40 - "Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and because He is steadfast, who we are in Him remains the same regardless of circumstances. These statements remind us whose we are and who we are Because of who Jesus is.
Speak these statements together as a family.
