REMINDER: Program of Studies Night
The 2016-2017 Program of Studies is available on the high school's website: casehigh.swanseaschools.org.
Parents and families who want more information on how to use this document to help clarify the course selection process at Joseph Case High School are invited to attend a Program of Studies Information Night in the rear of the auditorium on Wednesday, March 9, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
We will look at grade specific journeys for next year. Among the highlights will be some new courses for grade 9 students, our post-secondary business pathway for students thinking of pursuing business in college, and some exciting new changes to our offerings, including two new Advanced Placement courses.
This evening should help any parent who would like a more detailed overview of what coursework could look like over a four-year period.
Please consider joining me for an informative evening. This is part of our Parent Professional Development initiative this year.
Your selection choices have a profound effect on next year's schedule. This data is used to determine if a course will run or not next year and how many sections will be offered.
Arts Night on March 12
The public exhibition of student art work will feature sculptures, paintings, drawings, photography, printmaking and mixed media. All Case art students will display their favorite art piece from this year. The event's poster was designed by Case sophomore Emma Teves.
The evening culminates in the auditorium at 8 p.m. for the Case High Theatre Company's production of Way to Heaven. Rush seating is available at the doors for $10.
Shadow a Student
