RECHS begins second semester on Monday, January 6, 2020!

RCC classes begin on January 13, 2020.

ACT Test Prep

Juniors will be working with Mr. Brooks from Brooks Tutoring for ACT prep. Juniors will work in smaller groups with Mr. Brooks on January 6th and 7th. Ms. Blackmon sent an email to students about times and locations. We will also have a Saturday test prep day from 9:00am-12:00pm on February 15th. Juniors, please mark your calendars accordingly! The ACT will take place on February 25th, 2020!

Don't forget about 1:00 dismissal on Thursday and Friday of this week! Buses will pick up students from RECHS at 1:00pm. If your student is riding a bus at 1:00pm, please pick up your student by 1:45pm from his/her hub site.

  • Report cards will be given on January 7, 2020
  • Winter Dance is January 31, 2020
  • The ACT is February 25, 2020

Credit By Demonstrated Mastery

If students are interested in Credit By Demonstrated Mastery for a course, please see Ms. Blackmon. The deadline for spring applications is February 3, 2020. The link to all information on the RCSS website is here.

Mt. Shepherd Retreat Center needs volunteers!

If you are interested in completing community service hours at Mt. Shepherd Retreat Center please email the Camp Director, Rev. Josh Britton at josh@mtshepherd.org. They are looking for students who can help with food service, programs for guests, housekeeping, landscaping and office work. Students can work after school on the weekdays or weekend opportunities are available as well.

The Volunteer Center of Randolph County serves over 40 agencies in our county. All of the agencies are in search of volunteers. Students, if you are interested, please find more information on our Student Services site which is linked on our school webpage.

YEARBOOKS

Students and parents can buy a yearbook for $45. You can buy one from the main office or online using this link.
