Principal's Message
Hey there Beckley families!
We have had a wonderful start to the 2019-2020 school year. It has been great seeing so much family participation at our Harvest Fest, Breakfast With Books, 2nd Cup of Coffee Meetings, and Parent Conferences. We have more fun and exciting upcoming events and activities that we hope to see you all at!
Boys Town
This is a friendly reminder that a Boys Town Representative will be at Beckley Elementary, every Friday morning, from 8:45 AM-10:30 AM. Boys Town helps children and their families be more successful at home, school, and in life by providing free services in the home and in the community.

Beginning on Thursday, January 23rd, there will be Boys Town Common Sense Parenting classes. They are from 8:45 AM-10:45 AM. Please call 799-7700 X 4091 to register for classes.
Zoom Family Night
Zoom Family Night is Monday, December 9th at 3:45 pm. Please join us in the multi-purpose room to participate in our "Under the Night Sky" event. There will be multiple centers, with fun activities, for families to participate in.
Testing
As testing begins we are anticipating our students to show great academic growth.
Parents can help prepare their children for testing by:
- providing a designated, quiet place to study and complete their homework
- bringing your child to school, and on time
- allowing your child to get enough sleep
- providing healthy meals
- and most importantly, encouraging your child to do their best!
Days of Giving
The Beckley Student council are collaborating with a local shelter to run a supply drive. Each morning, at opening ceremonies, a bucket will be available for students to donate supplies for the shelter.
We will be collecting:
Monday, Dec. 9th: Lip balm and lotion
Tuesday, Dec. 10th: Socks, scarves, gloves, and hats
Wednesday, Dec. 11th: soap and shampoo
Thursday, Dec. 12th: Toothpaste and toothbrushes
