Spartan Celebrations
- Congratulations to the 103 SLJH Spartan Band students for earning at least one Superior rating at this past weekend’s Katy ISD Solo and Ensemble contest. These students went above and beyond and learned music on their own and performed for a judge and earned the highest possible rating offered. We are very proud of their individual efforts!
- Congratulations to our theater department on completing 5 amazing performances of Frozen Junior! We also want to thank our Theater Booster Club for purchasing a new sound system for the theater department! It made a world of difference!
- Two of our Spartans earned the top Junior High student winners from the HLSR school art program district judging downtown at the NRG Center! They are:
Best of Show – Trophy Kaysie Knorr “Chicken Love”
Gold Medal- Gold Medallion Catherine Deng “Denim Daydreaming”
Both students are in Mrs. VanHoozer’s Art Class. Congratulations!
