Logo
I am delighted to share with you our amazing logo that will be used on all materials and merchandise for our forth coming production. The winner of our logo competition is Lilah in Year 6.Audtion
Children in Year 5 and 6 have auditioned after school this week, for the main roles in Seussical. Miss Rowley, Mrs Smith, Mrs Lawrence and Mrs Humphrys have all been blown away by the standard of singing and performing and want to thank all the children who came forward to audition and to the parents for their support. Now they have the task of matching children and parts - it may take them a while. We will be announcing the cast list on the morning of Friday 17th May.
Help needed!
Our last production relied very much on the support of parents and family members. If you think you could help out, with any aspect of the show and the preparations, we would love to hear from you. Please contact the school office or see Mrs Lawrence or Mrs Humphrys to let them know how you can help.
Advanced notice of performance times and dates (each performance will be ticketed):
Tuesday 25th June 9.30am
Wednesday 26th June 2pm
Wednesday 26th June 6pm

We hope that all children will be able to take part in all performances as this is a very special whole school event. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and support. Please see Mrs Lawrence or Mrs Humphrys if you have any problems.

PTA News
Year 3 Tuesday Treat Day – Tuesday 7th May:
Due to the Bank Holiday, Monday Bun Day has become Tuesday Treat Day this month!
Please can all Year 3 parents bring in cakes, buns or biscuits for the children to sell after school on Tuesday next week. All treats will be priced at 50p.
Please let the PTA know if you can spare 15 minutes to help the children sell the cakes.
Race Night – Saturday 11th May:
As there has been low take-up on tickets for the Race Night, we will have to consider making the very disappointing decision to cancel this event.
If you haven’t bought tickets yet but would like to come along, please let the PTA know as soon as possible.
Money raised by these events is essential so please support the school if you can.
Car Boot Sale – Sunday 12th May:
The PTA is looking for volunteers to help out at the car boot sale from 7.30am to 11.30am on May 12th.
All volunteers get a free bacon buttie and cup of tea in return for having to get out of bed so early.
If you can help shake a bucket or park cars, or know anyone who can – grandparents, uncles, aunties, friends, neighbours – please let the PTA know.
The PTA can be contacted at fosms1@hotmail.co.uk or through the Facebook page @SouthMilfordPTA
