Today’s Focus: Teams
“A leader is best when people barely know he exists, when his work is done, his aim fulfilled, they will say: we did it ourselves.”

Reflections to Guide Your Journey
Think of a great leader in your life. How have they helped you achieve and accomplish more than you thought possible?
Teacher Recruitment Fair
On Friday May 6th, we will be hosting a local teacher recruitment event here at the Admin Center. This is a joint venture between GCS, the Chamber of Commerce and Teachers’ Credit Union. We have approximately 10 – 12 prospective teaching candidates who will be joining us for the day. In the morning, there will be a tour of a few schools and the community with lunch at the Old Bag Factory. In the afternoon, candidates will be interviewing with administrators. Administrators who plan to attend the interview sessions should plan to park across the street in the band practice area. This will allow our guests and other visitors to have ample parking for the day. Administrators should come prepared with your own interview questions. A schedule and candidate information will be provided to you.
TAP Bonus Pay
The second part of the TAP Bonus pay for teachers will be received on Friday this week. REMEMBER: If you haven’t already done so, please return the signed worksheets ASAP along with the spreadsheet with verification of teaching experience to Sarah in HR. Any worksheets that you may have for previous employees should be returned so that we can send those in the mail with the former employee’s bonus check.
Building Trades Open House
The GHS Building Trades open house will be held this Saturday from 3:00-6:00 p.m. The address for the house is 2445 Tulip Blvd, which is located in the Gardens subdivision off of Clinton. Please stop by to see the work of our skilled and dedicated students.
