Contractor For Elementary #8

The Board approved Bandy Constructors as the contractor to build Elementary School #8.

The Bandy Constructors bid totaled $36 million dollars at $365 per square foot, which was the lowest bid of any contractor and is the best value for Boerne ISD.

Other school districts in our area recently paid over $420 per square foot to build new schools.

Elementary #8 is scheduled to open in August 2024.

Boerne ISD named the Student Limelight Recipient for November.

Congratulations to Van Raub Elementary 5th-grader Jake Haines!

We are proud of him!

Superintendent's Report

  • We are in the process of outside organizations auditing certain programs, such as Special Education. We regularly perform audits of our programs in order to improve our district.

  • We will host a groundbreaking ceremony for Elementary School #8 in January 2023.

  • The bid for Elementary #8 is a great value for our district. We are paying considerably less than other school districts in our area.
