Early Life:
- By 12 first job was designing costumes for her childhood ballets
- At 18 she won the Levi's Dockers Scholarship and one free year at The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in San Francisco
- Worked as a Graphic designer full time before fashion design
Ladder to Fame:
2006 - Created her first collection at Portland Fashion week
2007 - Quit job to be fashion designer as sales picked up
2008 - Won Project Runway season 5

- Currently lives in New York City and works out of a studio in New York City Fashion District

- Created dresses for celebrities such as Paula Abdul, Heidi Klum, Carrie Underwood, Julianne Hough, Stephanie Bauer, Allison Janney, Whitney Carson, Jillian Rose Reed, and many more
- Designs displayed in Martha Stewart Weddings, US weekly, The Post, The New York Times, People, Elle, LIFE, National Geographic, Lucky, and countless others
- Designed high fashion patterns for Simplicity Patterns Company
