Student Council Spirit Day will be held on Wednesday, October 21st. It will be “Orange and Black Day.” Students and staff are encouraged to wear these colors to school that day.
1st ANNUAL METHACTON HOMECOMING PARADE - SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24TH
Save The Date for the first annual Methacton Homecoming Parade. This event is the first of its kind and Methacton School District is excited to have every school participate. Show your school support by marching in the parade in your Worcester school colors(burgundy & grey). Participants should meet at Eagleville Elementary at 8:30AM. The parade route will begin at Eagleville, walk down Walker Lane, left on Mt. Kirk, left on Germantown Pike and into the high school. Parade marshalls will help to organize the groups.
Following the parade there will be a short ceremony and ribbon cutting across the auxiliary field followed by a series of activities/games on the turf for kids. Football game is at 2PM, homecoming ceremonies at half time. Click here for more Homecoming Day information.
Groups marching so far are the Worcester and LP Fire Depts., MHS/Arcola Band, MHS Cheerleaders, Homecoming Court and a variety of athletic teams & clubs in the HS

THANK YOU - 1ST GLOBAL CARDBORAD CHALLENGE
Thank you to all who participated in Worcester's 1st ever "Cardboard Challenge" and for donating materials for this great event! The kids had so much fun with their friends and families, and did an outstanding job creating our very own Worcester Zoo. All of these amazing projects will be on display at school for all to see.
Click here for event pictures on the Times Herald website.
A huge THANK YOU to Mrs. Cherry for bringing this wonderful experience to Worcester this year -- we cannot wait to see what else is in store! Please don't forget to click here to check out Mrs. Cherry's Newsletter for more info. on "Maker Mondays." Another great opportunity to get the kids' creativity and imagination going and thinking outside the box!
MAKER MONDAYS
We are starting a MakerSpace in the Worcester Library to give our students the opportunity to create, invent, learn, grow and share. "MakerSpace Mondays" will be held in the Library during recess, and will run weekly. Space is limited, and registration is required. Students can sign up with Mrs. Cherry.
We are looking for donations to get our MakerSpace going: used legos, building toys, science kits, matchboxes/hot wheels, games, puzzles, marbles, toothpicks, popsicle sticks, wood shapes or small scraps, yarn, pencils, straws, construction paper, rulers, foil, wax paper, brads, duct tape, newspaper, paper towel tubes, card stock, large beads, perler beads, tinker toys, erector sets, broken toys, screwdrivers (to take apart the broken toys!) and storage bins. Donations can be sent into school and dropped off in the Library. All donations are greatly appreciated! THANK YOU!
