Announcements

1st Place Novice Blue Group at the SCGC Championships!
-Solo/Ensembles at Meridianville Middle School - We are so PROUD of the students that performed at the Solo/Ensembles
-All spring payments are past due. Please clear up your outstanding balance ASAP
If you write a check, please include 2 phone numbers and a drivers license number.
- Percussionist - Stick Bags have FINALLY arrived! Payments will be processed and bags will be sent home this week.
Symphonic/Concert Bands
- Solo/Ensemble - Please PRACTICE!
Con and Sym students (and Jazz Band) - Saturday, April 13th at Hartselle HS. Times will be announced the week before competition. Only those who filled out the google form for registration will be attending. Jazz Band will perform at this function, too.
Please understand that each EVENT is $5 - not per person. Email Merritt with questions!

Past Due Fees
We currently have a substantial amount of past due band fees. Please get this money in or contact a director for a payment plan as soon as possible. Students will not be able to get their schedules for next year until all of their fees for this year are paid.
Spring Concert
Our Spring Concert is scheduled for April 29th. This is a required performance that will count as a major Test grade. We would love it if you could make plans to attend both concerts (April 29th and 30th), but please be prepared to attend your child's concert for the entirety of the concert.
In preparation for the concert, we will have two after school rehearsals the week before to allow the beginners the opportunity to play as a full group. These rehearsals are mandatory. Please begin making arrangements for your student to attend. The dates are 4/23 and 4/25 from 3:30 - 5:00 pm.

Jazz Band
Saturday 4/13 - Jazz Band Performance - Solo and Ensembles - Hartselle High School
Saturday 5/11 - Spring Jazz Brunch - @ Senior Center (around 9am-ish?) We will be pitching in with the BJHS Jazz Band with breakfast food donations and pot luck breakfast goods.
Indoor Drumline/ Percussion Ensemble
Monday - 3:30pm-5:00pm - Percussion Ensemble Practice (Mandatory for Percussion Ensemble Band Trip Students)

FEES ARE PAST DUE
- All Fees were due March 4 - Please make payment. As always, payment plans can be arranged. All checks should be made to Bob Jones High School Drumline and include a driver's license and 2 phone numbers.
