From Our Media Specialist
Dear Parents & Family members,
As part of our plans for Field Day, we are setting up a book table as a station so that every child in the school receives a book to take home. We need would, once again, like to reach out to our wonderful community of parents and family members for donations of gently used K-5th age appropriate books so this can happen. How great a gift to give students free books that they get to select themselves!
Please feel free to drop them off in a box we will have setup in the main rotunda – this box will be marked SUMMER READING DONATIONS HERE.
Thank you so much for your help.
Sincerely,
Eileen Seren

From Ms. Macanas:
Hello parents!
This week in math we'll be focusing on word problems. Please review math multiplication facts with them so we can have an easier time with the word problems.
In ELA, we will be finishing our second literary essay and begin our third literary essay next week! We will also begin to uncover metaphors through cyclic patterns in art and poetry.
Our fast plants are living up to their nicknames and are growing at an accelerated rate. Please review their plants notes in addition to the animal notes we'll be taking this week for their quiz on Friday.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
