ACCESS Testing
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has a state assessment for students learning the English language in January. This test is called ACCESS, which will be given to English Language Learners starting in January and ending in early February. The four-part exam tests speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. It is necessary for all students learning English to be in school on testing days. Students should go to bed early on testing nights to rest up for the big exam and please refrain from making appointments during testing times. If you would like to learn more information on the ACCESS, please visit http://www.wida.us.
Kindergarten and make-ups will take place this week!
School Site Council
We really need a parent for these meetings!
Our new Superintendent believes schools should have more say with budgets. In order for this to happen we need an active School Site Council including parents. We have meetings scheduled four more times this year at 6pm for one hour. Please email me to join this important council. We need to hear your voices!
The meetings take place on:
- February 4th
- March 10th
- April 28th
- June 2nd
