A Note from Mrs. Knapp . . .
Hello Mann Families -
As a school family we are participating in a district challenge to get kids excited about reading. We are having dress up days and incentives to get students excited! If you take a picture of your child reading send it to your teacher so we can celebrate them!
Please let me know in any way that I can support you and your student. I can be reached at the office 523-4400 or at kjknapp@spsmail.org

Mann Behavior Expectations
CLICK ON THE IMAGE (to the left) TO ACCESS OUR BEHAVIOR MATRIX. This document outlines our behavior expectations for every area of the building. Teachers will continue to reteach and practice these expectations throughout the school year with their students. Feel free to review these expectations with your child at home to help reinforce positive choices while at school.

Red Tickets and PRIDE Focus
P.R.I.D.E. is our positive behavior support system here at Mann. P.R.I.D.E. at Mann stands for Positive*Respectful*Integrity*Dependable*Effort. During the month of March, we will be focusing on PRIDE in the cafeteria. Teachers talk about these words often with their students. This month they will be focused on positive behaviors in the cafeteria and looking for students who exhibit PRIDE to award Red Tickets to.

The bricks are $25 each and have two lines available for engraving. A brick order form can be found on our Facebook page and website. Bricks will be available for purchase through March 11 and will be placed in the ground later in the spring/summer.
Mann Masks are still available for purchase through our square site and will be sent home with your student the week of or week after

Spring Pictures
Spring Pictures are scheduled for Friday, March 5. An order form for pictures will come home with your student the first week of March, in time for the pictures on March 5. Virtual students may come between 4 and 4:30pm on March 5 to have their pictures taken. The pictures will be taken in the Mann APR.
Student Directories
Student Directories, which list student addresses and phone numbers, are available for purchase. (Mann students enrolled in the Launch program are also included in the directory.) Teachers are not able to send birthday party invitations home from school, so the directory is a great way to get contact information for classmates. The directories are $5 each and can be ordered on our square site or by sending your payment and a note with your child’s name, teacher, and stating you want a directory to school. It will be sent home with your child.
