Training and events for the Spring Term
The Spring term is well under way. We're looking forward to a busy term of network meetings for various roles in school from subject leaders to attendance coordinators. We continue to offer an extensive programme of training for our governors and are delighted to announce a series of conferences for all school staff.

Don't miss this free of charge afternoon conference in partnership with the NUT.
Keynote Merryn Hutchings, Emeritus Professor of Education, London Metropolitan University and author of the DfE report “Evaluation of the City Challenge Programme” – the initiative that has raised standards in London schools.

Getting to Grips...
Getting to Grips with the New NC for Mathematics in KS1
09 Feb | 1:30pm - 4pm
This one day course will support KS1 teachers with implementing the new curriculum for mathematics

Getting to Grips with Spelling in Year Two
11 Feb | 1:30pm - 4pm
This half day course, delivered by Geraldine Lacey, will support Year 2 and Year 6 teachers to help pupils make good progress in spelling and to successfully apply their spelling and phonic knowledge in their independent writing.

Login to the Octavo portal, navigate to 'Training', search your course title and book your place. Any member of school staff with a login can book a place (or book for another member of staff) which will then require authorisation from a member of staff with finance permissions; usually your Headteacher or School Business Manager. Alternatively email us with any queries and we'll be happy to assist you!
