"Fall Into CTE" Event Showcases Student Work and a Plethora of Possibilities
Program Draws Students from 5th to 11th grades
With the Fall season full of festivals and events, MCS Career & Technical Education hosted an event to showcase student work, provide parents with Pathway information, and gave students and parents alike the opportunity to participate in CTE course content. Attendees enjoyed the opportunities of welding, photoshop, game art design, digital design & animation, culinary arts, woodworking, advanced manufacturing, animal science, health science and health occupations. Families were able to ask questions and obtain information regarding Major Clarity (Career Readiness Program 6-12), internships, and the "Made in Martin" partnership with NE NC Pathways.

S&N Enterprises is a producer for Perdue Chicken, and students were able to learn first-hand the intricate and educational processes needed not only to operate a poultry operation, but any commercial operation! They found that algebra, chemistry, and physics are all needed in precision agriculture.
