AISD Bond Presentations for PTA Members
AISD is holding a bond election on November 3, 2020. Informational sessions will be hosted for PTA members to learn about the proposed bond and to ask questions. Please RSVP for one of the three sessions listed below by clicking here.
Vaughan PTA will be voting to support the bond at our membership meeting held virtually on Tuesday, September 8. If you wish to participate in the Membership meeting you will need to:
- Be a PTA member, you can join Vaughan PTA at VaughanPTA.org. You will need to join by 7 pm Monday, September 7 if you wish to attend the September 8 meeting.
- RSVP to the September 8 Vaughan PTA Membership Meeting by 7 pm Monday, September 7 by clicking here.

20-21 School Lunch & Breakfast Program
In light of increased safety and social distancing standards, Student Nutrition will offer curbside meal service providing meal bundles two times per week for Allen ISD students (K-12) at five school locations. Meals (2 Breakfasts and 2 Lunches) will be offered on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 and on Friday, August 14, 2020 for the first week of At Home Learning at the Tuesday Meal Bundle Prices below. Curbside meals will be offered on Tuesdays (2 Breakfasts and 2 Lunches) and Thursdays (3 Breakfasts and 3 Lunches) after the first week. Meals must be purchased as a complete bundle, and cannot be purchased separately.
All meal bundles will be priced according to the student’s eligibility. Parents and/or students may pick up the meal bundles by scanning their student’s ID Card or providing their student’s ID number. ID Cards will be distributed at your child’s school. To help ensure a smooth purchasing process, please ensure that there is adequate funding to your child’s PayPams account or purchase meal bundles using cash or check by placing in an envelope with your child’s name and ID and depositing at the curbside meal station at one of the five locations. Students are encouraged to pick up meal bundles at the closest location to their regularly assigned school; however, any Allen ISD student can receive meals at any of the five locations from 11:00-1:00 (1 bundle per student per day).
The five Allen ISD school locations for curbside meal pick up are:
1. Boyd Elementary, 800 Jupiter Rd, Allen, TX 75002
2. Rountree Elementary, 800 E. Main St., Allen, TX 75002
3. Reed Elementary, 1200 Rivercrest Blvd., Allen TX 75002
4. Lindsey Elementary, 5730 Wilford Dr., McKinney, TX 75070
5. Ereckson Middle School, 450 Tatum Dr., Allen, TX 75013

Vaughan PTA Membership Drive
Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year at Vaughan Elementary! We know this year may look a bit different, but we are so glad to be Vaughan Vikings. Vaughan PTA is still working hard to support the needs of all of our students, staff and community.
By joining PTA, membership is $10 per person, you are actively supporting the needs of all our students. As a special thank you, Vaughan PTA will be drawing three names from all who are members by September 18, 2020. The winning names will receive a special ballon yard art donated by Looney Bloons.
The yard art is a no contact reward and will be delivered without disruption. Yard art will be selected by the end of the 2020-21 school year. See sample photos below.
